DWPF provided financial advice to the University on its Mount Oswald procurement, which successfully reached financial close in August 2018.

The transaction will see 992 new student accommodation rooms being built by Interserve Construction, on behalf of a consortium comprising Equitix and Campus Living Villages (CLV). The project was financed via a £90m index-linked bond issue, which benefitted from a wrap by Assured Guaranty.

DWPF advised the Durham University from its initial stages, with involvement in the development of tender documentation, dialogue meetings, commercial negotiation and appraisal of private sector bidders’ financial  proposals.
