DWPF provided model audit advice to Maple Reinders and AIM Capital for the financing of the Halifax Organics Management Facility P3 in Nova Scotia, Canada.
This facility marks the fifth environmental project that Maple Reinders will deliver under the P3 format, more than any other Canadian company. Maple Reinders was shortlisted for the project with four other teams back in January 2018.
The organics facility will process up to 60,000 tonnes of organic waste as collected from HRM residential and commercial collection programs. The new facility will utilize in-vessel aerobic technology with indoor pre-and-post treatment systems. The technologies will result in the conversion of organic waste to Class A Compost as defined by CCME and Nova Scotia Environment guidelines.
