Financial modelling, model audit and training
Hamish has worked for over a decade in the infrastructure sector on a wide range of deals in the UK and internationally. He was previously a Director within the Global Infrastructure Finance team at Mazars / Corality where he led the consulting activity across the EMEA region and was responsible for oversight of financial models, quality process and client engagement.
Recent projects include redevelopment of various operational models for the purpose of management reporting and valuation, covenant monitoring and shareholder return projections including for Heathrow Airport, HS1, Eversholt Rail, Associated British Ports and Veolia Polska. His experience at Mazars/Corality also saw him support a full range of project finance transactions through to financial close, including primary and secondary market transactions and refinancings.
Prior to joining Mazars/Corality, he spent five years a financial modeller within the project development team at ATCO Power, a leading developer, builder and operator of independent power generation facilities in the UK, Canada and Australia. Whilst at Atco, Hamish provided commercial support for competitive tenders, acquisitions, valuations, project enhancements and other special projects.
Before ATCO, Hamish spent a year working within the project finance team at the leading asset manager, John Laing, where he specialised in valuation and asset enhancement opportunities.
Hamish began his career at Atkins Management Consultancy in 2002, supporting clients to prioritise and evaluate capital investments especially in the heavy industries (iron and steel).
Hamish holds a BSc in Mathematics & Statistics from the University of Sussex.
