Mário Pena, CFA has over 6 years’ experience in infrastructure deals financial advisory in a wide range of sub-sectors such as: Renewables, Power & Utilities, Transport and Leisure.
Recently, he has been working primarily with infrastructure funds and infrastructure developers in delivering project finance solutions in the Renewables sector, aiming to maximise their risk-adjusted returns.
Prior to DWPF, Mário held positions in EY (Ernst & Young) and KPMG infrastructure teams in Portugal, where he advised public and private sector players on fundraising, refinancing and restructuring of debt facilities, acquisitions, procurement and renegotiation of PPP / concessions, and financial modelling. While at KPMG, he acquired significant experience in emerging markets, supporting clients in Angola, Egypt, Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
Mário holds a BSc in Management and a Major in Finance from University of Minho (Portugal), and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
